Preparing Glazed Corned Beef - A Delicious Twist on a Classic Dish

With St. Patrick's Day right around the corner, we thought we'd share our favorite tradition.

What is Glazed Corned Beef and How Is it Different?

If you're looking for a delicious, sweet and savory corned beef recipe, you'll want to try out Glazed Corned Beef. We make this year after year and have never looked back. This dish is made with a special corned beef glaze that adds flavor and texture to the traditional corned beef. It's an easy-to-make dish that will make your taste buds sing! So, what is this glaze and how does it differ from other recipes? Read on to find out!

Glaze: (for 3-5 lb Brisket)

½ Cup Brown Sugar

½ Cup Brown Mustard

½ Cup Water

½ tsp Cloves

1 TBSP Butter

Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan and bring together over heat, melting the butter and dissolving the sugar. Allow to simmer for 2-3 minutes, then remove from the heat.

Cook your Corned Beef Brisket in your standard fashion. Heat broiler on low. Brush glaze on fully cooked Corned Beef to completely smother it. Broil for 30 minutes stopping every 10 to reglaze with remaining glaze. Watch carefully so it doesn’t burn. Keeping the bricket 6-8 inches away from the element will work best. Serve and enjoy with your standard cabbage and potatoes.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
